Halifax based, non-binary, queer artist, Burry is helping to amplify voices of marginalized communities with a blend of indie-rock/pop that is quickly being noticed across Atlantic Canada. Today we are pleased to be able to premiere the second single from their forthcoming debut EP, entitled Yellow Paint, which is set for release in January. We are very excited to be premiering the track “3 Birthdays.”

When asked about the song, Burry explained:

“3 Birthdays is about dealing with your parents divorce, and its effects, at any age. It's about spending every birthday and holiday trying to navigate your parents' separate plans, while wanting to make your own. Being nostalgic for a time when everyone was together."

"This single illustrates spending birthdays driving to different towns, to make sure you spend time with both of them, while on the phone with your brother on the other side of the country, wishing you could have one party with everyone you love together in the room.”
