Single Premiere: Yaris Paris - "96 Toyota

On August 9th, Factotum Cassettes & Oddities is re-releasing Real Moves from Vancouver dream-pop act, Yaris Paris. An incredible record that didn’t get the attention it deserved, Factotum stubbled into the discovery of this incredibly polished album that was self-performed, self-produced and self-mixed. It beckons imagery of beach or yacht settings; but hidden underneath the summery feel are themes of decay and deterioration that point to the alienation often experienced in a metropolis.

It’s an impeccable release that demands attention. We are pleased to get to premiere a song that was not featured on the original release but will be packaged up as a bonus track on the upcoming re-release by Factotum Cassettes & Oddities.
