Premiere: pseudo-antigone - "Sigma Male"

pseudo-antigone is the musical production moniker for interdisciplinary artist Simone A. Medina Polo, a mestizo trans artist based out of Edmonton, Alberta. Not only is Medina Polo at the forefront of the Hyperpop scene within Edmonton, she is also one of the writers at the Cups N Cakes Network! We are so happy to have someone with her talent on our team and even more excited to get the honour of announcing her debut album as pseudo-antigone!

The record is called Into The Void Of Infinite Sadness and it will be released on May 7th through Edmonton based Hyperpop label, Pyric Gestures. The first two singles were released together on March 5th and today we are very excited to share the final advanced single called “Sigma Male” which leans into the more industrial and playful aspects of hyperpop taking cues from the work of SOPHIE and Dorian Electra.
