On March 19th, Saskatoon pop act - Too Soon Monsoon - released “Be Easy,” the first single from their forthcoming album. This album (that was featured on our list of the Most Anticipated of 2021) was recorded over three days in an old converted church outside Saskatoon called The Sound Castle. It also happens to be the band's first recording with new member, bassist Steve Adams - formerly of One Bad Son.

Today, the Cups N Cakes Network is very excited to be premiering the music video for “Be Easy.” According to the band, the track was written a few weeks into quarantine while reflecting on the necessity to have compassion for yourself and others. The video includes behind the scenes footage of the band's three day recording session at The Sound Castle. Footage was captured both by the band and by Kristen Boyer, and the video was edited by Steve Adams.

When asked about the video, Too Soon Monsoon revealed:

"Those three days recording in The Sound Castle were really special. Since we had so much behind the scenes footage, we figured it made sense to use video clips from that weekend to demonstrate the feeling of the live recording session. We found video footage of us recording the actual take of "Be Easy" that was used for the mix, so Steve combined video from that take with other clips from the weekend. Watching this music video takes us right back to those days. We are constantly reminiscing on this session and can't wait to get back into the Castle to record again."
