Premiere: Yaris Paris - Super Power
Yaris Paris came on our radar last year with his incredible album, Real Moves. It took us awhile to discover this incredible dream-pop debut so we highlighted it on our list of releases that “Slipped Through The Cracks.” Today we are very excited to announce the follow-up to Real Moves will arrive on May 21st through Factotum Co.
The album is called Ultimate Fantasy and it was inspired by late night drives. On the open road, surrounded by the abyss of darkness, Yaris Paris sculpts a contemplative experience and puts you in the passenger seat as he drives.
Today we are excited to premiere the track “Super Power,” a track that Yaris Paris describes as:
"Super Power is about the journey to loving and appreciating yourself. I wanted to write a song that revolved around the drums rather than a melody. There's something primal and self assured about drums. I like to think of a strong sense of self being Yaris Paris' super power.”
