Premiere: The Eclipse - Convenient Love

Edmonton dream-pop act, The Eclipse are preparing to release their highly anticipated debut album in the fall of 2021. The albums first single, “Rough Time,” arrived in December of 2020 and today we are very happy to be able to premiere another track from a release that we’ve been waiting for ever since hearing their debut EP, I Want Less, which made our list of the “Best EPs of 2018” (at a time when Cups N Cakes was nothing more than an internet radio show).

The track we are premiering today is called “Convenient Love” and it’s an impressive upbeat dream-pop gem about those relationships that don’t seem to nourish either party but exist simply out of convenience.
