Rough Shapes, EEJUNGMI, Wicked Vices, and Alien To The Ignorant

Rough Shapes - Pattern No Frame

Smooth lines and good vibes come to mind when listening to the debut EP by Toronto’s Rough Shapes. Pattern No Frame highlights the bands punk backgrounds while still maintaining an appealing softer edge.

EEJUNGMI - Contribution EP

Contribution is the new EP by Calgary’s EEJUNGMI who uses the songs to explore the themes of loss, building, and rebuilding. The songs mirror the feelings of pain and frustration being voiced but they have the lift needed to remove a heavy burden.

Wicked Vices - “Butterfly”

Wicked Vices kicks things off on their new single with a descending guitar line that paves the way for the rock and roll that ensues. From there on its high octane and pedal to the medal with some strong gritty vocals to lead the way.

Alien To The Ignorant - “Shatter”

Screamo never faded away completely and has been making an underground comeback as of late with bands like Saskatoon’s Alien To The Ignorant ushering the genre into the 2020’s. Their new track “Shatter” blows expectations and grinds them up in some blistering double kick.
