PACKS, Nuela Charles, Amaka Queenette, and Chadio & The Dirty Sample

PACKS – Take The Cake

The debut album from Toronto-based PACKS, Take The Cake, takes lo-fi, garage rock, and bedroom pop, and uses it as a vessel to take the listener through memories of the mundane and ordinary through a beautiful, romantic lens. With mesmerizing vocals and soft, psychedelic undertones, this is an album that comforts the ears, the heart, and the mind.

Nuela Charles – Blissful Madness EP

Blissful Madness EP is the newest release from three time JUNO Award nominee, Edmonton-based Nuela Charles. The EP features a trilogy of tracks with catchy alternative pop accentuated with heavy soul and r&b influence. These are three groovy songs with heartfelt lyrics and an open invitation to take in the music and dance.

Amaka Queenette – “want you more”

Amaka’s newest single, “want you more,” is a passionate track with elements of neo-soul and r&b. The song slows down and takes the time to make the most of its lovely sound, which is mirrored in the lyrics. “Hold me just a moment / ‘Cause our time is never enough / I want you more”

Chadio & The Dirty Sample – No Wives Club

The first album collaborated by rapper-producers Chadio and The Dirty Sample; No Wives Club is inspired by both of their recent breakups. This 17 track album is full of aggressive and witty lyricism delivered with a bangin’ flow. With few songs lasting over the three minute mark, each track is lyrically dense and quick paced, never overstaying its welcome.
