dianacrawls / Botfly, Brutal Poodle, Nick Zubeck, and SUGARFUNGUS

dianacrawls / Botfly – Split

A split 7’’ named after its respective bands, dianacrawls / Botfly is a unique blend of experimental and hardcore. Opening with dianacrawls, their first track begins with ambient soundscapes before jumping into a fractured, badass hardcore track. While Botfly’s single still contains the badassery it takes a more structured and catchy approach.

Brutal Poodle – “Drainage”

The new single from Vancouver’s Brutal Poodle, “Drainage,” is a grunge–punk track that tells the story of ending a parasitic relationship through a fun rock sound and tongue in cheek lyrics. This song also features a video that blends green screen footage with home VHS style video.

Nick Zubeck – “The Bell Tower”

Here’s a single with a ton of lore – the newest offering from Toronto’s Nick Zubeck. “The Bell Tower” is named and represented through an image of a 14th century German church, and the sound is an ever expanding composition that takes the listener on an auditory journey designed for our own narrative interpretation.

SUGARFUNGUS – Letting Go, Moving Still

Vancouver’s SUGARFUNGUS deliver their six track debut release that features romantic and heartfelt lyrics with a dream-pop groove. Each song is deeply layered and unfolds itself in catchy pieces all while speaking wise words of love, tortured memories, and moving on. Letting Go, Moving Still is an amazing debut album.
