Devours & Kellarissa, Fairything, Ryan Robinson, and dylan

Devours & Kellarissa - Change My Mind

This new single from Vancouver’s Devours features vocals from Kellarissa. With some initially jarring choices of tones, this electro pop song is constantly unrolling itself in a way that keeps you enthralled the whole way through. It also has a liminal album cover, and it perfectly captures its fascinating nature.

Fairything - Outta The Woods

This is a dream pop album with a fascinating story; it’s based on Fairything’s experience working with the long since forgotten Averno franchise. This multimedia project has been wiped off the face of the internet. Fairything uses her album as a farewell letter and conservation effort; to create an auditory archive of old times while letting them go.

Ryan Robinson - Forfeit

This new release from Montreal’s Ryan Robinson takes a piece from indie rock, alternative, and lo-fi folk together in an album perfectly suited for house parties and good times. It’s catchy, versatile, and when you least expect it, heartbreaking. Robinson said this album is ‘for the fellas’, and by the albums end this sentiment rings true.

dylan - Bug Eye

Humorous, off key, and aggressive in tone, this album is just a joy to listen to. This Montreal based post-punk band really puts the post in post punk. Dropping the fast-paced obscenities of classical punk, this album takes it time to deliver tongue in cheek word salad. It also features beneath its skin some thought provoking views on society.
