Jon McKiel - Bobby Joe Hope
On this weeks episode of the Cups N Cakes Vinyl Unveil, Jeff opens Bobby Joe Hope, from Jon McKiel. An album with an interesting story, Bobby Joe Hope features songs McKiel recording with an unknown stranger. After purchasing a second hand Teac 2340, he discovered a tape with beautiful samples. He began jamming with those samples and ended up creating the songs for this record. This limited run on black vinyl was released on April 24th, 2020 through You’ve Changed Records.
