Video Premiere: Self-Cut Bangs - "Ace"

Awhile back, the Cups N Cakes Network premiered the music video for Self-Cut Bangs single “Pillow Talk” and then featured their debut album as a “Pick Of The Week”. Now we are very excited to be, once again, bestowed with the honour of premiering a video from this Calgary power-pop duo.

With lyrics that are loosely inspired by Bad News Bears, the music video for "Ace" channels the classic film and follows cohort group of women who take to a baseball field during the pandemic. Seeking relief from a spring filled with isolation, baking and hand sanitizer, the cohorts come to the realization that team sports are actually fun. It was directed by and stars Self-Cut Bangs vocalist Cayley O'Neill.
