Harley Alexander makes infectious indie-pop with a lofi edge. Mainly based in Halifax (although he does seem to bounce around this vast nation), he has been engineering and producing music for over a decade and has worked with some impressive Canadian musicians including Charlotte Day Wilson, The Everywheres, Adrian Teacher and Walrus. His forthcoming EP, Feeling Things, is said to be: “his most stripped down album thus far, giving space for honest narrative and sound.”

Today we are pleased to give you a first glimpse of the single “Love Language,” a song which Harley claims: “is the sound of my cold dead heart waking up and smelling the coffee again.” He continues to say: “The song is an expression of the surging of renewed love that comes after heartbreak and subsequent healing and change; it's about reopening to the world, loving and being loved.”

Feeling Things will be released through OOF Records on August 12th, 2020 where a run of 50 tapes will be available for purchase. A series of social-distancing live shows will be broadcasted over social media to promote and celebrate the EP. Dates TBA in the coming weeks.
