Single Premiere - Hewson Grey - "Moving Mountains"

Scottish immigrant Stuart Bobbin met Joe Paonessa in 2014 when (in a truly Canadian act of kindness) Paonessa rescued Bobbin who had become utterly lost is a blizzard. The two immediately hit it off over their shared love of UK music and they decided to form a folk-duo. Two years later, two turned to five, folk turned to progressive rock, and Hewson Grey was born. Today the Cups N Cakes Network is pleased to be premiering the latest single from this Edmonton band.

The track is called “Moving Mountains” and although Bobbin and Paonessa were aquatinted by their loves of UK rock, this track boasts a strong Rush influence. When asked about the lyrical content, the band said:

“Moving Mountains is a call to arms, a Words: song urging people to exercise their right to vote, and using that vote to change the world for the better. We live in momentous times and the opportunity to bring about a fairer society has never been stronger.”
