Video Premiere: The Spanish Flies - "Mr. Evil"

The Spanish Flies are an Edmonton band that fuse latin vibes into their unique brand of psychedelic rock.

Founded in 2016 by Peruvian immigrant, Feliam Gamarra, The Spanish Flies have turned heads in their (new) hometown with passionate live performances and those, oh-so-good, latin grooves. Today we are very excited to premiere a video they made while in quarantine this past January. The video is from an older track (2019) called “Mr. Evil.”

Gamarra explained the video’s concept:

“Mr. Evil is the physical representation of life's temptation.  The video is a journey of self realisation that leads up to accepting our "dark side" as a part of who we are and using it to become stronger. We feel like this song and video are a good reminder to stay strong during these difficult times.”
