Premiere: Star Thistle - "Green River Ice"

Star Thistle is a Winnipeg singer songwriter who was formerly known as Uncle Sinner.

As Uncle Sinner he released three albums which primarily revisited traditional American songs and molded them into tunes that had that classic nostalgia but that spoke to his life experience.

With the name change also comes a change in approach to writing music. Star Thistle debut album is comprised of original selections that span his career. Most of these originals are recent but some go way back but were never recorded and released.

Today we are very happy to premiere the song “Green River Ice” from Star Thistle’s debut album, The Best Of Star Thistle, that is set for release on May 24, 2021.
