Premiere: suffer fools - child star

Mysterious BC recording project - suffer fools - first came on our radar two years ago with their debut 2 song release, ocean of grief // dust. It was covered as part of our “Quick Picks” column with Jeshaiah David stating: “It’s dark-wave pop at its depressive best, tugging at tears till there are none left.”

Since then, suffer fools released two more double singles and an additional single… all very… very good. We’ve been told that a full length record is supposed to emerge this year, via Factotum Co, but that’s about it. The project remains mysterious with the only information about the artist in the press package being condensed to one sentence:

“suffer fools has unearthed the work of D Debased: former child star, current train wreck, and future pop messiah.”

Luckily the press materials also mentioned that each week, suffer fools will be releasing a song, article, and visual accompaniment that highlights the life and times of D Debased. Go here to peep that weekly treat and perhaps we’ll be able to sleuth out more information on suffer fools.
