Premiere: Rooms - Moon Signs

Rooms (FKA I Make Earthquakes), is the project from Vancouver artist Beshele Caron. Starting as a side project for extra songs, Rooms ending up becoming Caron’s main focus as their former band, Greenbelt Collective, began winding down. Through the project, Caron crafts downtempo lofi pop gems (self-described as “sad-pop”) that deal with miss communications, the difficulties in organizing others, impossible housing markets, and lost friendships.

Leading up to the release of Rooms’ third full length album, Don't Be Yourself, later this year, the Cups N Cakes Network is excited to be premiering its fourth single. The track is called “Moon Signs” and dives into themes of relationships, climate change, moods, and rolling pressures. It arrives today in the form of a music video created by Don’t Make Art for Them. The video plays with collage to craft a revolving aesthetic, using movement through-out to emphasize the rolling pressures inherent in the everyday.

Enjoy the video below and keep your eyes peeled for the release of Don't Be Yourself digitally on cassette via Vancouver label No SUN Recordings.
