Premiere: Madrid Exit (ft. Delachute) - “July”

Today the Cups N Cakes Network is excited to help introduce Canada to Madrid Exit, the brand new musical project by Alexy Préfontaine (also known as aeforia), a visual artist who has produced visuals for renowned acts such as ODESZA, Lil Nas X, and Yung Gravy.

Based in Montreal, Préfontaine teamed up with the mysterious avant-pop artist, Delachute for his debut single, “July.” The track is a dark, atmospheric, downtempo-pop gem and has definitely peaked our interest. “July” is launching into the Canadian music stratosphere with the help of an equally eerie and dark video which was directed by Madrid Exit and shot by the Welsh-born Montreal videographer Orhan Aydin.
