Majical Cloudz sophomore release entitled “Are You Alone?” is an extension of 2013’s “Impersonator”
The best way to describe Majical Cloudz is minimalistic & emotional electronic music. Somehow, producer Matthew Otto made the arrangements on “Are You Alone?” even more stripped down than their debut while retaining everything that made “Impersonator” so great. Singer, Devon Welsh once again wears his heart on his sleeve offering us more sad accounts of life without holding back. His voice soars over Otto’s music, offering relatable tales of sorrow, but also tales of understanding.
