Clairmont The Second, Shane Ghostkeeper, Devours, and Tommy Tone

Clairmont The Second - “Hands”

Lush jazz beats frame Clairmont The Second’s track “Hands” as he talks about his struggles, both personal and professional. The artist’s life is far from easy. Doing what you love can be more costly than lucrative, but that is secondary to the thrill we get from making true art.

[*Editor’s Note - Yesterday, Clairmont The Second released his second single of 2020… is this a ramp-up to an album announcement?… Let’s hope so.]

Shane Ghostkeeper - “Why Do I Hide?”

Living in the middle of nowhere with nothing but your thoughts is bound to make anyone sad, and therefore driven to make country music. “Why Do I Hide?” is an example of the type of heartbreak that can only be felt when you push someone away without really knowing why.

Devours - Two Kids/Dick Disciple

Devours’ Double A-side Two Kids/Dick Disciple starts off with one of those melodies that will give you goosebumps, followed by vocals that might even get you a little misty. But then “Dick Disciple” kicks in, and suddenly your neck is broken by wild video games sounds. Excellent contrast, Devours.

Tommy Tone - Of The Killer

I have always been a fan of the idea of exploring serene, top-down worlds filled with helpful characters, and the occasional baddy. Tommy Tone’s Of The Killer is an EP of nostalgic video game music, and one worth checking out if you like the same spaces as me.
