Katie Tupper, Alex Nicol, Karma Glider, and Leather Jacuzzi

Katie Tupper - Where to Find Me

Oh, if I could only find the proper words her voice deserves to be described as. Folks, I pressed play on the first track of her new EP, and instantly thought, what the sweet pajamas is THIS? I stopped typing and just sank away! Then she sings this line “Head above water in the middle of a draught”. There is no fat left on this lyric. I am such a fan!

Alex Nicol - Been a Long Year Vol.1

Been a Long Year Vol.1 is what I have to believe slowly sliding down a peaceful dreamsicle is like. I always try to avoid comparisons, but I can’t for Alex Nicol. His phrasing and melodies put me in the spirit of Radiohead’s Thom Yorke!

Karma Glider - Future Fiction

Susil Shama has slipped to the side to release his newest project, Karma Glider. The debut EP, Future Fiction is a whole lot of 80’s FIZZ candy! It tastes good and it sounds good! Opening track subliminally had me wanting to play Super Mario Bros. Have a listen and you will know exactly why!

Leather Jacuzzi - Rumours 2

Calgary’s unmerciful punk rock destroyers, Leather Jacuzzi, are back! They made no attempts to forewarn they were storming the gates with their new EP, Rumors 2. With high tempo, HEAVY guitars, symbol mania, and infectious double tracked vocals, you shall rise and appreciate it!
