Hailing from Prince George, BC, Danny Bell writes accordion based folk tunes with infectious charm. He masterfully paints a loving portrait of small, blue-collar town life with humour and vivid imagery. His new album, Song For The Town, will be released December 11th on Prince George Label, Good Egg Records. It will be available on vinyl/cd/streaming.

The album touches on topics like depression, small-time music industry satire, BC’s bias against Prince George, Danny’s experience immigrating to Canada, social division, and the thoughts and aspirations of two dogs. Although the album sometimes veers into dark territory, Danny is a master at quickly lightening the mood with humour when required. Today we are very excited to premiere the single, “Riverbank.” We are delivering it to you in the form of an animated music video by Silky Hen. The video was drawn frame-by-frame during an artist residency at the Gavin Lake Forest Education Centre.
