Premiere: Glassreel - Bigger Than You

Today the Cups N Cakes Network is pleased to be premiering the first single from Winnipeg pop group Glassreel’s forthcoming debut album. The track is called “Bigger Than You” and it features a country ballad structure with a dancey beat and power pop underpinnings. Glassreel singer, Kelly Beaton, describes it as being “about struggling to see things concretely rather than settling for abstractions”

“Bigger Than You” is the first single from Lustre, the upcoming debut which is set to arrive on September 30th, 2022. Upon its release, Glassreel will embark on a Fall 2022 North American tour.

The song arrives today in video form, staring singer Kelly Beaton, and filmed by Winnipeg filmmaker Sean Guezen. The video features an intensely personal narrative of loneliness to further reflect the sentiments found in the song’s lyrics.
